GWIC Welcomes Tabitha Cline-Mills as Regional Manager in the Carolinas

Cline-Mills will use her funeral industry experience to build relationships in the region

American Enterprise Group, Inc. (AEG), the holding company for Great Western Insurance Company (GWIC), is pleased to announce Tabitha Cline-Mills has joined the company as a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, Cline-Mills will direct the North Carolina and South Carolina locations, manage relationships with funeral homes, and focus on sales growth for the GWIC brand.

Cline-Mills has been a North Carolinian since early childhood and has over a decade of experience serving client families in all aspects of funeral service, including advanced planning. Prior to joining GWIC, she spent nine years at Service Corporation International, where she utilized a full-service, relationship-based approach to Preneed. This allowed her to provide client families with a number of aftercare options to manage the financial and decision-making aspects that accompany the loss of a loved one.

“I am excited to join AEG and am eager to begin drawing upon my business knowledge and experience as a funeral director to continue building relationships with funeral home directors, agents, and owners throughout the Carolinas,” said Cline-Mills. “My goal is to help them serve their families by offering options that ease some of the burdens brought on by loss. Working together, we can provide families the unencumbered opportunity to grieve, to remember, and to celebrate life.”

Cline-Mills earned her B.M.S. degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and her M.B.A. from West Texas A&M University. She is a North Carolina Funeral Service Licensee and previously served as a director in three different North Carolina funeral homes (Raleigh, Rocky Mount, and Greensboro).

“Tabitha is a great addition to the company, especially given her funeral industry experience in the region and the relationships she has already established,” said Kenn Peterson, Vice President of Sales – Preneed. “Hiring someone of Tabitha’s background and experience is another indication of our commitment to growing our Preneed business. We are excited to have her join our team and look forward to the inroads we will be able to make in the North and South Carolina markets under her guidance.”

AEG has multiple insurance company subsidiaries under the American Republic®, Great Western Insurance Company (GWIC®), and Medico® brands.
